1. Position Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and competent Medical Oncologist with 25 years of relevant post-specialization experience to join the Medical Oncology team at Narayana Health, Bangalore. The candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive oncology care, including diagnosis, staging, treatment planning, systemic anti-cancer therapy, management of treatment-related complications, follow-up care, and coordination with multidisciplinary oncology teams.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Responsibilities

- Evaluate patients with suspected or confirmed malignancies and establish appropriate treatment plans.
- Review clinical history, pathology, laboratory investigations and radiological findings for accurate diagnosis and staging.
- Manage patients with both solid tumors and hematological malignancies.
- Plan and administer systemic anti-cancer treatments including chemotherapy, targeted therapy,



immunotherapy and hormonal therapy, as clinically appropriate.
- Monitor patients receiving systemic therapy and manage treatment-related toxicities and complications.
- Provide appropriate supportive and symptom-directed treatment during cancer therapy.
- Conduct regular outpatient consultations and inpatient reviews.
- Participate in emergency management of oncology patients, including treatment-related complications.
- Provide appropriate follow-up and surveillance for patients after completion of treatment.
- Coordinate with radiation oncology, surgical oncology, pathology, radiology, palliative care and other specialties for comprehensive patient management.

Eligibility / Qualification

Essential:

- MBBS from a recognized medical institution.
- DM/DrNB in Medical Oncology from a recognized institution.
- Valid registration with the applicable State Medical Council / National Medical Commission.
- 25 years of relevant post-specialization experience in Medical Oncology.
