Electrical Design

Engineer role based in Thane. The Jr.

Electrical Design

Engineer will assist in developing electrical schematics, panel layouts, and wiring diagrams using industry-standard CAD tools under the guidance of senior engineers.

Responsibilities include supporting PLC, SCADA, and HMI-related design tasks, preparing documentation and bill of materials, and ensuring designs meet relevant standards and client specifications. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, participating in design reviews, updating drawings based on feedback, and contributing to the continuous improvement of design processes. The engineer will also help with basic calculations, data organization, and version control,



while maintaining accurate records for project delivery.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess foundational skills in electrical engineering design, including reading and creating electrical schematics and panel layouts.
- Candidates should possess skills in using CAE tools such as EPLAN Electric P8, AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical, or similar electrical design software.
- Candidates should possess basic knowledge of PLC, SCADA, and HMI systems and be willing to learn programming and configuration as needed.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with industrial standards and safety practices, with an interest in UL, IEC, and related compliance requirements.
- Candidates should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Candidates should possess effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
- A bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred; internship or academic project experience in industrial automation or electrical design is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Thane, manage multiple tasks, and adapt to project-based timelines and priorities
