Responsibilities

Social Listening & Analysis
Monitor conversations around brands, campaigns, products, talent, and relevant topics across social media platforms.
Track mentions, conversations, trends, sentiment, and emerging narratives.
Identify key conversations, consumer opinions, complaints, and prospects.
Analyse social media conversations and convert them into clear, actionable observations.
Track competitors and relevant industry conversations.
Identify trending topics, viral content, influencers, and emerging conversations.
Support daily, weekly, and monthly social listening reports.
Maintain accurate trackers and databases of social media conversations and profiles.

Research & Reporting
Conduct social media and competitor research.
Collect and organise data from different social platforms.
Analyse large volumes of social media conversations and identify patterns.
Support preparation of presentations and reports.
Create concise observations from data and social conversations.
Maintain Excel/Google Sheets trackers and ensure data accuracy.

Qualifications

Must Have




Strong understanding of social media platforms, especially Instagram, YouTube, X, Facebook, and Reddit.
Strong observation and analytical skills.
Good written and verbal communication.
Good research skills.
Basic knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets.
Ability to understand context and identify the sentiment behind conversations.
Ability to differentiate tonality.
Robust attention to detail.
Ability to work with large volumes of data.
Curiosity about brands, entertainment, pop culture, and digital trends.

Valuable to Have
Familiarity with social listening tools.
Basic understanding of social media analytics.
Knowledge of PowerPoint/Google Slides/Canva.
Basic data visualisation skills.
Previous internship/project experience in social media, digital marketing, research, communications, or related fields.

Qualification: Graduate in Marketing, Communications, Mass Media, Journalism, Advertising, Business, or a related field.
