Role: Robotics Validation Engineer
Team: Automation & Robotics
Role Overview:
We are seeking a mid-level Robotics Validation Engineer to ensure the safety, reliability, and performance of our autonomous systems. You will bridge the gap between software development and real-world deployment by designing, executing, and automating robust test suites. Working deeply within our ROS2 and Ubuntu-based stack, you will validate complex behaviors in both simulation and physical hardware to catch edge cases before they reach production.
Key Responsibilities
Test Development: Design, implement, and maintain automated Software-in-the-Loop (SITL) and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HITL) test frameworks for robotic systems.
System Validation: Execute comprehensive functional, performance,
and stress tests on physical robots and in simulated environments.
ROS2 Debugging: Record, parse, and analyze rosbags and system telemetry to identify regressions, latency issues, or node crashes.
Collaboration: Work directly with perception, navigation, and control engineers to reproduce complex field bugs and verify fixes.
Infrastructure: Maintain and optimize Linux/Ubuntu testing environments, CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Docker, GitHub Actions), and automated deployment scripts.
Reporting: Document test plans, validation metrics, and release readiness reports for cross-functional teams.
