The role
You lead GoComet's data, research, and thought leadership engine, aimed at the people who run global supply chains: VP Supply Chain, VP Logistics, Head of Global Supply Chain, and Head of Global Logistics at Fortune 500 companies. You own what GoComet believes about how supply chain, logistics, and global trade work, and you prove it with data no one else has.
You set the questions worth answering, mine our platform data, layer in external and internal signals, and turn all of it into flagship, journalistic-grade pieces, original research, frameworks, and free tools that the industry and the rest of our content organize around. You are the source of the opinions; other people distribute and rank them.

What you own
The point of view. You define the positions GoComet is willing to stake across supply chain, logistics, and global trade, and the frameworks and mental models that carry them. These pillar POVs become the spine everything else structures around.
Big-opinion, journalistic-grade pieces. You produce research-backed,



argument-driven work a VP of Supply Chain would actually stop and read: next-level in rigor, narrative, and craft, closer to a responsible newsroom or a top research desk than to a marketing blog.
Original research. You run GoComet's proprietary research program: frame the questions, design defensible methodology, query our platform data (shipping, rates, transit times, procurement benchmarks, trade flows), and produce flagship reports that earn citations, links, and analyst attention.
Free tools and referenced assets. Where a calculator, index, benchmark, or tracker would carry a point better than an article, you build it in collaboration with the product team, so GoComet's data becomes something people return to and cite.
Research-anchored. Every piece is built on evidence. You triangulate three sources for each: external market and trade data, internal signals (sales calls, win/loss, product, customers), and GoComet proprietary data layer
