About The Role

The Shopify Developer will be responsible for the development, maintenance, performance

optimisation and continuous improvement of the Shopify storefront. The role

requires solid Shopify expertise and an understanding of CRO, website performance,

integrations and D2C e-commerce funnels.

Key Responsibilities

Shopify Development

Own the day-to-day development and maintenance of Shopify website.
Develop and customize Shopify themes, sections, templates and components

according to needs and CRO implementations.

Build responsive experiences across desktop, tablet and mobile.
Implement new landing pages, product pages, collection pages, navigation and

merchandising features as needed.

Convert Figma/design requirements into clean, scalable Shopify code.
Manage Shopify apps, integrations and third-party scripts.

CRO & Website Optimisation

Work closely with the Growth and Marketing teams to implement CRO initiatives.
Improve website conversion across the funnel — PDP → ATC → Checkout →

Purchase.

Implement A/B tests, merchandising changes, bundles,



upsells, cart interventions,

offers and promotional journeys.

Identify technical and UX bottlenecks impacting conversion.
Ensure campaigns and landing pages launch quickly and accurately, in collaboration

with brand + growth teams.

Performance & Technical Optimisation

Own website speed and Core Web Vitals.
Identify and eliminate unnecessary scripts, apps and technical bottlenecks.
Optimise images, JavaScript, CSS and Liquid code, in collaboration with tech agency.
Monitor mobile performance and ensure a fast mobile-first experience.
Troubleshoot website bugs, checkout issues and browser/device-specific issues in

collaboration with the tech agency.

Integrations

Manage and troubleshoot integrations with payment gateways.
Experience with tools such as Shopflo, MoEngage, Meta Pixel/CAPI, Google

Analytics/GTM, Google Ads and logistics/OMS integrations will be an advantage.
