1. Contributes to the analysis, design, and development of technical solutions.

2. Lead and manage a team of software developers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure successful project execution.

3. Plan, execute, and oversee software development, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.

4. Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.

5. Monitor progress, manage risks, and address any issues that arise.

6. Ensure the development of high-quality software solutions that meet technical specifications and business requirements.

7. Review and approve technical designs, code, and documentation to ensure compliance with best practices and standards.

8. Work closely with BAs and Architects and other stakeholders to align development efforts with business goals and customer needs.

11. Identify and address areas for improvement in development workflows and practices.

12. Manage developers effectively, including workload balancing.

13. Identify and address skill gaps within the team, and support training and development initiatives.

Required Qualification

- B.E, B.Tech, or equivalent experience

- 10+ years of experience in software development, with at least 3+ years in a team management role.

- Demonstrated experience managing software development projects and teams.

Required Skills (Should have)

- Proven experience leading and managing software development teams, with a strong track record of delivering successful projects.





- Proficiency in software development methodologies and practices, including Agile and Scrum.

- Working with modern Policy Administration Systems (PAS)

- Strong expertise in Java and SQL, with practical experience using Hibernate and Java Database Connectivity (JDBC).

- Deep understanding of Object Oriented Programming (OOP) principles, with strong skills in data structures, multi threading, JDK, and JVM.

- Familiarity with Spring, JSP/Servlets, HTML, JUnit, Mockito, Maven, robust exception handling in Java, and the Model View Controller (MVC) architecture.

- Proficiency in working with the Eclipse IDE.

- Working experience with program involving Policy and Claims administration systems

- 5+ years of experience in the US HAL (Health/Life/Annuity) insurance domain.

- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong leadership and team management skills.

- Proven ability to address and resolve technical and project-related issues.

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

- Experience with different stages of the software development lifecycle, from planning and development to deployment and maintenance.

- Experience in identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies.

- Ability to coordinate with other departments, such as BA, QA, operations, and support, to integrate and deploy software solutions.
