Role Overview:

As an IT Support Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our organization's technology infrastructure. You will be the first point of contact for technical support, troubleshooting issues, and providing solutions to enhance the productivity of our team. Your expertise will help maintain our commitment to delivering exceptional service and support to both internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide first-level technical support to end-users by diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network-related issues.

- Respond to support requests via phone, email, or in-person, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues.

- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, peripherals, and software applications to ensure optimal performance.

- Conduct regular system updates and patches to maintain security and efficiency across all platforms.

- Document and track support requests and resolutions using the company's ticketing system, ensuring accurate and detailed records.

- Collaborate with other IT team members to identify and implement improvements to the IT infrastructure.

- Assist in the setup and support of audio-visual equipment for meetings and presentations.

- Provide training and guidance to users on best practices for utilizing technology resources effectively.

- Participate in the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.

- Monitor system performance and proactively address potential issues to minimize downtime.

- Manage user accounts and access permissions, ensuring compliance with security protocols.

- Should be well-versed in client and vendor coordination/communication during the event lifecycle, ensuring timely resolution of operational and technical requirements.

- Responsible for onsite installation, configuration, and testing of Eventech solutions,



including pre-event validation of services and content to ensure smooth deployment and execution during the event.

- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to provide innovative solutions and recommendations.

Required Qualifications:

- Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

- 2 to 3 years of experience in an IT support role, with a proven track record of resolving technical issues.

- Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems, as well as common software applications.

- Familiarity with networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.

- Experience with ticketing systems and remote support tools.

- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field preferred.

- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Skilled (MCP).

- Experience with Server, Storage, Networking, Firewall management.

- Knowledge of IT Infra best practices and data protection practices.

- Experience in supporting mobile devices and applications.
