Role & Responsibilities
Operate and monitor suppository manufacturing/filling machines as per SOP and BMR.
Set machine parameters such as temperature, speed, filling volume, and cooling conditions.
Perform machine setup, changeover, cleaning, and basic troubleshooting.
Ensure correct filling, molding, cooling, demolding, and packing of suppositories.
Monitor in-process parameters and product quality during production.
Maintain proper line clearance and equipment cleanliness.
Follow GMP, SOP, safety, and hygiene requirements.
Record production activities, machine parameters, and yield in batch documents.
Coordinate with Production, QA, QC, and Engineering teams when required.
Report machine breakdowns, deviations, and abnormal observations to the supervisor.
Minimize material wastage and ensure maximum machine efficiency.
Follow proper gowning and cleanroom practices.




Required Skills
Experience in suppository manufacturing/machine operation.
Knowledge of pharmaceutical GMP and SOPs.
Knowledge of machine setup, operation, cleaning, and changeover.
Basic troubleshooting and machine-handling skills.
Understanding of temperature and filling parameters.
Knowledge of BMR, logbooks, and production documentation.
Valuable observation and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in shifts.
Valuable teamwork and communication skills.
Knowledge of safety and hygiene practices.
Qualification: Diploma / 12th Pass or equivalent/ 2–6 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, preferably in suppository production.
