EY is currently seeking a Data Engineer Senior to join our Tax Technology practice in India.

Key Responsibilities
Strong database programming/ backend development experience using SQL Server/Azure SQL, writing complex queries, stored procedures, views, triggers, cursors, UDFs.
Strong Azure SQL Database and Azure SQL Datawarehouse concepts.
Experience with the Azure Data Platform (Azure Data factory/ Databricks) is an added advantage.
Experience on Azure data platform offerings
Ability to effectively communicate with other team members and stakeholders
Solid verbal and written communications skills.

ETL pipeline design and implementation
Data ingestion and transformation frameworks
Azure Data Platform
Experience across Azure data services and platform offerings.
Understanding of cloud-native data architecture and deployment patterns.
Data Engineering & Performance Optimization
Ability to:
Design and optimize databases
Build ETL packages
Optimize SQL workloads
Maintain enterprise-scale data platforms
