We are looking for a Staff Software Engineer / Backend Tech Lead to drive the architecture and development of high-scale, real-time data platforms. This is a hands-on technical leadership role focused on distributed systems, streaming, data platforms, and AI-native engineering.

Key Responsibilities
Own backend architecture for high-scale, real-time data platforms.
Lead technical design reviews and architectural decisions.
Work with Kafka, ClickHouse, Druid, Spark and distributed systems.
Design and build scalable streaming and OLAP solutions.
Integrate LLM pipelines, AI agents, agent observability, and intelligent data modeling.
Drive end-to-end delivery from design and development to production monitoring.
Mentor engineers through code reviews, design discussions, and knowledge sharing.
Champion engineering best practices, testing, CI/CD, and code quality.
Collaborate with Product and distributed engineering teams.

Requirements




5+ years of software engineering experience, preferably in backend/data platforms.
Solid experience with distributed systems and high-scale backend architecture.
Hands-on experience with Kafka, Spark, ClickHouse, Druid or similar technologies.
Strong proficiency in one or more: Python, Go, Java, Scala, or Rust.
Practical understanding of AI/ML, LLM pipelines, or AI agent systems.
Experience with RAG, LLM applications, or agentic systems is a plus.
Experience mentoring engineers and providing technical leadership.
Robust problem-solving and communication skills.
Comfortable working in an AI-assisted engineering environment using tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, or GitHub Copilot.

Positive to Have
Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, or CrewAI.
Exposure to LLMOps and production AI deployment.
Experience building observability solutions for AI/agent systems.
