Role & responsibilities -

Administer and manage Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager

(SEPM) and endpoint agents.
Configure and maintain SEP policies, including:
Antivirus (AV)
Intrusion Prevention System (IPS)
Firewall
Device Control
Application Control
Monitor over 150,000 SEP endpoints and proactively identify security or operational issues.
Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve SEP-related incidents and performance issues.
Lead SEP design, implementation, deployment, and administration activities.
Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of the SEP workplace.
Manage SEP upgrades, migrations, patching, and lifecycle activities.
Assess the impact of policy changes and ensure adherence to security standards.




Coordinate with cross-functional teams and communicate remediation actions when issues are identified.
Install, configure, update, and manage endpoint protection solutions across enterprise environments.

Preferred candidate profile -
8+ years of SEP/SEPM administration experience.
Solid troubleshooting skills in endpoint security environments.
Experience supporting 100,000+ endpoints.
Positive understanding of networking, Windows Server, and security operations.
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
ITIL or security certifications preferred.
