Assistant Registrar/Administrative Assistant I in the Division of Community Medicine and Public Health Practice, School of Public Health (Ref.: 537178), to commence as soon as possible, on a six-month or one-year temporary-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university, with relevant academic and professional training related to the areas of responsibility and/or recognized professional qualifications, together with at least 8 years of experience in senior management position in a public or quasi-public organization or a related sector. A higher degree would be an advantage. He/She should have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese), be mature, meticulous, self-motivated,



and a good team player with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills; and be able to work on his/her own initiative. Applicants should possess strong leadership, communication and presentation skills, as well as excellent multi-tasking and project management skills, especially in project administration and publicity management. Commitment to quality and results, excellent time management and problem-solving skills, a skilled work attitude and a high level of computer literacy are essential qualities for the post. Applicants who are familiar with managing projects funded by public organizations and experienced in working with advisory boards of public organization and senior Government officials would be an advantage. Applicants with less experience may be considered for appointment as Administrative Assistant I.
