Job Title: Interior Site Engineer

Department: Project Execution / Operations

Reports To: Project Manager / Senior Site Engineer

Job Overview The Interior Site Engineer manages day-to-day site execution, supervising sub-contractors, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and aligned with approved shop drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities

- Site Execution & Supervision
- Direct daily site activities for civil, carpentry, MEP, ceiling, flooring, and finishing works.
- Ensure works strictly follow approved architectural shop drawings, BOQ, and material specifications.
- Mark layouts on-site and verify critical dimensions before fabrication or installation.
- Quality Control & Material Management
- Inspect incoming raw materials and finished components against approved samples.
- Implement strict quality checks across all stages of execution to minimize rework.
- Maintain precise records of material receipts, consumption, and site inventory.
- Sub-Contractor & Labour Coordination
- Supervise trade workers (carpenters, painters, electricians, plumbers, tile layers).
- Allocate daily tasks based on project schedules and track productivity.
- Resolve site-level technical issues and clashes between different trades.
- Progress Tracking & Reporting




- Prepare Daily Progress Reports (DPR), material requisitions, and site logs.
- Track project timelines against baseline schedules and report variances early.
- Assist in joint measurement verification for sub-contractor and client billing.
- Safety & Site Hygiene
- Enforce site safety rules, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) compliance, and housekeeping standards.
- Conduct pre-work briefings on high-risk site operations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Education: Diploma or B.Tech/B.E. in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, or Architecture.
- Experience: 2–5 years of hands-on site supervision in commercial or residential interior fit-out projects.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in reading AutoCAD shop drawings, structural layouts, and MEP plans.
- Strong understanding of interior materials (MDF, plywood, veneers, laminates, hardware, finishes, glass, acoustic panels).
- Core Competencies: Explicit communication, vendor coordination, problem-solving under pressure, and keen attention to finishing details.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
