Position Overview:

As an Interior Designer with our firm, you will have the chance to work on a diverse range of projects, from residential homes to commercial spaces, and collaborate with clients to bring their design visions to life. From concept development to project completion, you will play a pivotal role in every stage of the design process, leveraging your creativity, technical expertise, and industry knowledge to deliver exceptional results. Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with clients to understand their design preferences, functional requirements, and budgetary constraints, and translate their vision into cohesive and aesthetically pleasing interior design concepts.
- Develop detailed design proposals, including floor plans, elevations, material selections, 2D Floor Plans and 3D renderings, to effectively communicate design intent and obtain client approval.
- Source and specify furniture, fixtures, finishes,



and accessories that align with the design concept, budget, and project timeline, while considering quality, durability, and sustainability.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, vendors, and other project stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of design plans and timely completion of projects.
- Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions, verify measurements, and oversee construction progress, addressing any design-related issues or changes as needed.
- Provide design guidance and support to junior designers, interns, and other team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and new materials/products, and incorporate innovative design solutions into projects to enhance functionality and aesthetics.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, industry partners, and vendors, and actively participate in networking events and professional organizations to expand our client base and promote our brand.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Proven experience in interior design roles,



with a portfolio showcasing a range of residential and/or commercial projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, 3Ds Max or other design software, as well as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Strong knowledge of design principles, space planning, building codes, and construction techniques, with the ability to translate conceptual ideas into practical and aesthetically pleasing designs.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts, listen to client feedback, and collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Creativity, innovation, and a passion for design excellence, with a commitment to staying abreast of industry trends and best practices.
