Job Title: Storekeeper

Department: Stores / Accounts

Reports To: Accounts Manager

Job Summary

Responsible for receiving, storing, issuing, and maintaining hotel supplies, food and beverage items, housekeeping materials, engineering supplies, and other inventory. Ensures proper stock control, accurate documentation, and timely availability of materials to all hotel departments.

Key Responsibilities
Receive goods and verify quantity, quality, specifications, and supporting documents.
Check deliveries against purchase orders, invoices, and delivery notes.
Properly store materials according to hotel standards and product requirements.
Maintain organized and clean storage areas.
Issue materials to various hotel departments based on approved requisitions.
Maintain accurate stock records and inventory documentation.
Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels and inform the concerned manager about replenishment requirements.
Follow FIFO/FEFO principles where applicable, especially for food and perishable items.
Check expiry dates, product condition, and storage requirements.
Ensure proper handling of damaged, expired, or rejected items.
Coordinate with the Purchase, Accounts, Kitchen, Housekeeping,



Engineering, and other departments.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports as required.
Follow hotel policies relating to hygiene, safety, security, and inventory control.
Prevent wastage, damage, unauthorized issues, and stock losses.
Assist during monthly and annual inventory audits.

Skills & Qualifications
Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management, Supply Chain, Commerce, or a related field preferred.
Previous experience in a hotel store or inventory department is preferred.
Knowledge of hotel purchasing and inventory procedures.
Basic computer skills;

experience with hotel inventory/POS/ERP systems is an advantage.
Valuable communication and organizational skills.
Solid attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay: ₹13,000.00 per month
