About the Role
House of EdTech is looking for an execution-driven HR Operations Head to manage end-to-end HR operations for 3,000+ employees in a fast-paced, high-growth setting.
The role will own HR Operations, Payroll, Compliance, Employee Lifecycle, HRMS, Policies, MIS & Reporting, while leading a team of 10–20 HR professionals and working closely with the Founder’s Office.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and scale the HR Operations team
Manage end-to-end payroll across multiple entities
Oversee statutory compliance including PF, ESIC, PT, TDS & labour laws
Drive onboarding, employee lifecycle, confirmations, promotions, transfers and exits
Manage F&F;, salary revisions, incentives, deductions and arrears
Handle employee grievances and employee relations
Develop and implement HR policies, SOPs and processes
Manage HRMS (Keka preferred)



and ensure data accuracy
Drive PMS, HR automation and process digitization
Track HR metrics including headcount, attrition, payroll and compliance
Create MIS, dashboards and reports for leadership
Ensure audit-ready HR documentation and records

What We’re Looking For
7+ years of experience in HR Operations, Payroll & Compliance
Experience managing HR operations for 1,000+ employees
Strong expertise in Payroll & Statutory Compliance
Proven experience managing 10+ member teams
Strong knowledge of Keka/HRMS and ATS platforms
Advanced Excel / Google Sheets
Strong process orientation and documentation skills
Excellent stakeholder management, including working with founders
Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability
High ownership, attention to detail, integrity and confidentiality
