Key Responsibilities:
Obtain and evaluate ocean freight rates from carriers and agents for import shipments.
Prepare and present pricing quotations to customers, ensuring cost competitiveness and profitability.
Collaborate with internal teams (sales, operations, etc.) to provide up-to-date and accurate pricing information.
Monitor market trends and shipping line tariffs to optimize pricing strategies.
Assist in negotiating rates with shipping lines to secure the best possible rates for the company.
Maintain a database of ocean freight rates and regularly update it with current information.
Respond to customer inquiries regarding ocean freight pricing in a timely manner.
Work closely with overseas agents to source competitive rates and solutions for import shipments.
Experience:
Import Pricing: 1 year (preferred)
