Mahatma Gandhi International School, Jaipur is looking for a Sports Initiator who understands that sports is not just about playing—it’s about how the body thinks, adapts, and learns through movement.
This role is for an out-of-the-box educator who sees movement as a powerful learning space where children develop awareness, coordination, reasoning, pattern recognition, decision-making, and resilience—not just physical strength.
Who you are:
A agile thinker who looks beyond drills, matches, and scores
Deeply aware of how movement builds understanding of effort, balance, timing, and cause-effect:
Curious about how children learn through trial, feedback, repetition, and rest:
Observant of posture, breathing, coordination, and emotional regulation
Facilitative rather than command-driven
Reflective, adaptable, and open to learning and unlearning
Aligned with child-centric education and NEP 2020 values
What you’ll do:
Design movement experiences that build body awareness, spatial sense, rhythm, and control
Use sports to develop logical thinking, sequencing, estimation, strategy, and problem-solving:
Help children understand speed, effort, momentum, accuracy, and recovery through experience
Create inclusive spaces where every child engages meaningfully, not only the most athletic
Encourage reflection—children notice what their body did, what worked, and what didn’t
Collaborate with educators to connect movement with broader learning
This role isnot for:
Coaches obsessed with winning or competition
Drill-only, whistle-and-command instructors
Anyone who sees sports as a time-filler or break from learning
Pay: From ₹20,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
