Role: Informatica Admin

Experience Range: 5 to 8 Years

Location: Bangalore/Hyderabad

Must Have

Key Responsibilities

Platform Administration

- Administer Informatica PowerCenter, IDQ, IICS, MDM, CDIPC environments - Start/stop Informatica services, repositories, and nodes - Perform user / group / role management - Apply standard configuration changes as per SOPs - Manage code deployments to higher environments

Monitoring & Incident Management

- Monitor Informatica services, workflows, and schedules - Perform daily health checks and job monitoring - Analyze session and workflow failures - Restart failed jobs and services where applicable - Work on L2 incidents, service requests, and alerts - Escalate unresolved or complex issues to L3

Positive to Have

Environment Support

- Support DEV, SIT, UAT,



and PROD Informatica environments - Perform environment validation post-maintenance - Assist during application releases and patch windows - Coordinate with ETL developers, DBA, Unix, Storage, Network teams

Backup & Compliance

- Execute and validate repository backups - Maintain access and audit compliance - Follow change management and release processes - Update runbooks and operational documents

Essential

Skills & Experience (L2)

Technical Skills

- Informatica PowerCenter / IICS administration - Linux/Unix system knowledge - Basic SQL troubleshooting - Scheduler, workflow logs, session logs analysis - ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Remedy)

Experience

- 3–6 years of Informatica Administration experience - Experience supporting production systems - BFSI / Enterprise environment experience preferred

Minimum Qualification

- 15 years of full-time education - Minimum percentile of 50% in 10th, 12th, UG & PG (if applicable)
