Job Summary

Duties
Identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities to meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
Manage purchase orders using Tally Software, ensuring accuracy and compliance with organisational policies.
Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure the smooth transportation and delivery of goods.
Monitor inventory levels and forecast future procurement needs based on production schedules and demand forecasts.
Maintain comprehensive records of procurement activities, supplier performance, and contractual obligations.
Collaborate with internal departments to understand their procurement needs and provide timely support.
Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, current products, and alternative sourcing options.
Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards throughout the procurement process.

Skills
Proficiency in Tally Operating is essential for managing purchase transactions efficiently.




Strong negotiation skills to secure favourable terms while maintaining positive supplier relationships.
Knowledge of logistics and supply chain management principles to optimise procurement activities.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Analytical mindset with attention to detail for evaluating supplier performance and market conditions.
Effective communication skills for liaising with suppliers, internal teams, and stakeholders at all levels.
Experience in procurement within a manufacturing or industrial environment is desirable but not mandatory.
