Job Description
About the RolenOffice Beacon is looking for a Junior Python Engineer with robust Python fundamentals and hands-on experience developing backend applications and APIs using FastAPI.
nYou will contribute to backend services, REST APIs, automation scripts, integrations, internal tools, and product features. You will work closely with other engineers, QA, and product teams to build, test, debug, and maintain reliable software.
Key ResponsibilitiesnPython & Backend Development

- Develop and maintain backend applications and services using Python and FastAPI.n
- Build clean, reusable, and maintainable Python modules.n
- Implement backend business logic, validation, error handling, and application workflows.n
- Follow established coding standards and software engineering practices.n
- Develop backend services supporting web, desktop, and AI-enabled applications.n

nAPI Development & Integration

- n
- Design and develop REST APIs using FastAPI.n
- Implement request validation, authentication, and authorization.n




- Apply appropriate API security practices.n
- Integrate third-party APIs and external services.n
- Work with structured data and file-processing workflows.n
- Create and maintain API documentation using Swagger/OpenAPI.n
- Support frontend and QA teams with API integration and testing.n

nAutomation & Scripting

- n
- Develop Python scripts for automation, data processing, integrations, and internal tools.n
- Automate repetitive engineering and product workflows.n
- Build utilities that improve operational efficiency.n
- Maintain and improve existing automation scripts.n
- Troubleshoot script failures and improve automation reliability.n

nDatabase Development

- n
- Work with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or SQLite.n
- Perform database operations supporting backend features.n
- Work with ORM technologies such as SQLAlchemy, SQLModel, Tortoise ORM, or similar.n
- Assist with queries, models
