Job Responsibilities:
Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, feeding, grooming, and mobility.
Assist in shifting and transferring patients using wheelchairs and stretchers.
Support nurses in providing basic patient care and comfort.
Monitor and report basic patient needs or any changes in the patient's condition to the nursing staff.
Assist patients during admission, discharge, and transfer.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene around the patient's bed and ward area.
Change bed sheets, arrange beds, and maintain a clean patient setting.
Assist with collection and transportation of samples, reports, files, and other hospital materials as instructed.
Follow infection-control, safety,
and hospital hygiene protocols.
Handle patients and attendants respectfully and professionally.
Perform other patient-care duties assigned by the nursing staff or hospital management.
Qualification & Skills:
GDA / General Duty Assistant certification preferred.
10th/12th pass preferred.
Hospital or healthcare experience preferred.
Valuable communication and patient-handling skills.
Responsible, disciplined, and compassionate towards patients.
Willingness to work in shifts.
