Responsibilities
Your responsibility will have dual roles:
Operational:
In this role, you will be expected to ensure that routine functioning of the HR department is enhanced. This includes:
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition (40%):
- Sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring medical and non-medical staff.
- Drafting job descriptions, posting on portals/social media, and leveraging healthcare referral channels.
- Coordinating interview schedules with clinical and administrative department heads.
- Issuing offer letters, managing pre-employment documentation, and completing background checks.
Onboarding, Offboarding & Separation Management (20%):
- Conducting structured induction and orientation programs for recent hires.
- Managing exit procedures, exit interviews, asset recovery, and coordinating full & final (F&F;) settlements with accounting.
- Tactfully managing involuntary separations, disciplinary actions, performance terminations, and compliance documentation.
HR Operations & Administration (20%):
- Maintaining accurate physical and digital personnel files (licenses, credentials, contracts, attendance history).
- Monitoring shift rosters, leave requests, attendance logs, and overtime.
- Coordinating attendance/leave inputs with accounting for monthly salary processing.
- Assisting in maintaining compliance with labor laws,
NABH standards, and hospital safety protocols.
Employee Relations & Grievance Management (20%):
- Serving as a confidential point of contact to resolve internal conflicts and inter-departmental friction (e.g., OT vs. OPD).
- Educating staff on hospital conduct, POSH/anti-harassment policies, and facilitating mediation.
- Organizing staff appreciation events, wellness initiatives, and routine feedback checks to maintain high morale.
Developmental: In this role, you will be expected to initiate new activities which will contribute to the development of your department:
- System Upgrades: Improve and digitize HR administration, attendance tracking, and onboarding workflows.
- Talent Pipelines: Establish relationships with optometrist colleges, nursing institutes, and training centres to create steady pipelines for future hiring.
- Policy & Culture Enhancement: Develop and update employee handbooks, safeguarding guidelines, and hospital policy frameworks in line with growing organizational needs.
- Staff Retention & Welfare: Analyse turnover trends, exit interview data, and workplace feedback to propose actionable retention strategies to management.
Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
