Application Support Role
Experience: 5–8 years

Essential Job Functions:

Application Support
Provide end-to-end support for Java-based applications hosted on WebSphere, Apache Tomcat, and microservices running on OpenShift.
Monitor application performance, stability, and availability, ensuring minimal downtime.

Release & Change Management
Coordinate production releases and changes with Application Development teams.
Deploy application builds to production using Harness, UrbanCode Deploy (UCD),



and other CI/CD tools.
Ensure adherence to organizational change control processes.

Incident Management
Handle production incidents using ServiceNow and Jira, ensuring timely triage and resolution.
Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.

Major Incident Management
Lead TMIM (Technical Major Incident Management) bridge calls during high-severity incidents or outages.
Drive quick mitigation steps to restore service and minimize business impact.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams for real-time troubleshooting.

Debugging & Issue Resolution
Troubleshoot issues by analyzing logs on Linux servers using UNIX commands and logging tools like Splunk.
Identify production issues, assess impact, and coordinate with development teams for urgent fixes and patches.

Alert Management
Onboard and configure alerts for critical services/components.
