About The Job:
The Desktop Engineer 2's primary duties include software images for assets.
They troubleshoot problems that involve with the Image deployment, patching and monitoring using SCCM and Intune autopatch.

Essential Job Functions:
Work on incidents, tasks and requests for the issues related SCCM image deployment.
Develop standard procedures for building, packaging, and deploying application software across all devices (including desktops, laptops, VDIs, tablets, smartphones, etc.), supporting both 'push' deployment and end-user self-service.
Develop and maintain documentation for all core software images build and deployment process using task sequence.
Utilize Services Tools to maintain and provide compliance with core software image packaging, deployment,



and management policies and procedures.
Create current software image builds for deployment to different devices.
Test image deployment for the supported devices in the setting.
Utilize SCCM and Intune to maintain and provide compliance with core software image packaging, deployment, and management policies and procedures.
Conduct End User testing of deployed application software to validate that they perform in accordance with the approved specifications.
Deploy approved application packages on applicable devices as required.
Develop, maintain, and patch using Intune and autopatch for different settings to maintain compliance.
Follow patch review process and share the results.
Document solutions and associated procedures to the Break/Fix incidents in knowledgebase.
