Essential Job Functions:
Ability to collaborate and resolve Energetic & Static IR issues.
Provide feedback on power grid robustness to Floorplan/APR teams.
Positive exposure to high-frequency design convergence for PDN and decent exposure to VCD flows, RHVoltus/Voltus, and Vmin flows.
Evaluate and optimize different power distributions (voltage rail assignments, regulator assignment) for a SoC.
Modeling of the power delivery networks, including on-die power gating and in-rush current profiles.
Modeling of the current profiles and peak current demands of various IPs.
Evaluate and optimize voltage rail assignment and regulator requirements for SOC.
Work with the system, PMIC,
and silicon package teams to model the voltage response of the power delivery network.

Mandatory Skills (Must Have)
EMIR, block-level or chip-level Physical Design and EM/IR activities
Power grid requirement
Dynamic & Static IR issues
7+ years of relevant experience after a Bachelor or Master of Engineering degree in Electrical/Electronic/VLSI Engineering or related field.
Experience in leading block-level or chip-level Physical Design and EM/IR activities.
Robust expertise in assessment of power grid requirements and good understanding of package and board-level requirements.
Understanding of electrical properties of on-die PDN, power gating, package, and system power delivery.
Strong skills in problem solving, scripting, and data analysis, with experience using EDA tools.
