Role Description The Head of Retail Operations is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai, responsible for overseeing daily store operations across the retail network. This position ensures consistent store performance, including inventory management, merchandising standards, and adherence to operating procedures.

The role involves setting and tracking operational KPIs, optimizing processes, and analyzing store data to improve efficiency and profitability. The Head of Retail Operations will lead and coach store teams, coordinate staff scheduling, and promote strong customer service practices.



The role also collaborates with senior management on strategic initiatives, implements recent retail programs, and ensures compliance with company policies and local regulations.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Retail Operations and Operations Management skills to oversee multiple stores and streamline processes.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret sales, inventory, and performance data for operational decisions.
- Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service capabilities to uphold service standards and enhance the in-store experience.
- Candidates should possess effective Team Management skills to lead, mentor, and develop retail staff.
- Experience in multi-store or large-format retail environments is beneficial.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities are essential.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, retail management, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in a senior retail operations role, ideally within the Indian market, is an advantage.
