: Head of Finance

- Position Title: Head of Finance
- Reports To: Chief Executive Officer (CEO) / Managing Director
- Experience Required: Minimum 15 Years
- Education: Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA in Finance from a premier institute.
- Industry Focus: Domain expertise in either Non-Banking Financial Companies (NBFC) or Organized Jewelry Retail.

Job Purpose The Head of Finance will serve as a core strategic leader, overseeing all financial operations, capital structures, and regulatory compliances. This role is responsible for driving organizational growth, safeguarding high-value assets, and optimizing financial performance. The ideal candidate will bring a mature leadership presence backed by deep corporate governance experience in either the fast-paced, inventory-heavy workplace of Jewelry Retail or the highly regulated domain of an NBFC .

Key Responsibilities

1. Core Financial Leadership & Operations

- Strategic FP&A;: Lead corporate financial strategy, long-term forecasting, capital allocation, and annual operating budgets to support scale.
- Treasury & Liquidity Management: Optimize corporate cash flows, manage complex banking relationships, and oversee fund mobilization strategies.
- Governance & Reporting: Ensure timely and highly accurate compilation of financial statements in compliance with relevant accounting standards (IFRS, IndAS, GAAP).
- Taxation & Compliance: Direct all corporate tax planning, direct/indirect tax optimizations,



and ensure flawless statutory compliances.

2. Industry-Specific Track Record (Any One Required) If from the NBFC Sector:

- Champion Asset-Liability Management (ALM) frameworks to closely balance liquidity risks and maturity timelines.
- Ensure strict compliance with central bank regulations, overseeing Capital Adequacy Ratios (CAR) , NPA provisioning, and statutory reporting.
- Drive structural fund mobilization via commercial papers, NCDs, bank lines, and co-lending partnerships.

If from the Jewelry Retail Industry:

- Oversee high-value inventory control , bullion banking operations, and gold metal hedging strategies to manage price volatility.
- Manage multi-store working capital cycles, store-level cash/card collections, and seasonal inventory spikes.
- Establish rigorous internal controls and security audit processes to mitigate shrinkage and inventory loss risks.

Required Candidate Profile

- Experience: Minimum 15 years of progressive corporate finance experience, with at least 5 years leading the entire finance function at a corporate level.
- Competencies: Exceptional command over large-scale ERP platforms, sharp commercial acumen, and a proven track record of presenting financial health frameworks to Boards, institutional investors, and regulatory bodies.

Experience: AGM/ DGM - 20-25 LPA (CA/ MBA- finance)

CXO - 40-45 LPA (CA preferred)
