FresherHardware Engineer

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Hardware Design Engineer – Fresher to join our Automotive Embedded Systems team. The candidate will work with experienced engineers on the design, development, testing, and validation of electronic hardware for automotive applications. The role provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in automotive electronics, embedded hardware design, circuit analysis, PCB design, debugging, and hardware validation while working on real-world automotive products. Key Responsibilities Assist in the design and development of electronic hardware for automotive embedded systems. Understand the design requirements and translate them into hardware design. Perform circuit design, component selection, and circuit simulation and calculations. Work on automotive interfaces such as CAN, I2S, UART, SPI, I2C, ADC and digital / Analog I/Os. Assist in designing power supply, signal conditioning, communication, microcontroller and high-end multicore microprocessor -based circuits. Support schematic capture and PCB layout activities. Perform hardware bring-up, debugging, and troubleshooting using laboratory equipment. Use tools such as oscilloscope, multi-meter, logic analyser, and function generator for hardware debugging and validation. Support prototype board testing and hardware validation against design requirements. Assist in identifying and resolving hardware design issues. Participate in technical discussions, and documentation activities. Prepare and maintain technical documentation such as schematics, BOMs, test reports, and design specifications. Required Skills Strong fundamentals in Analog and Digital Electronics. Basic understanding of Microcontrollers and Embedded Systems.



Knowledge of electronic components such as resistors, capacitors, diodes, MOSFETs, transistors, voltage regulators, and operational amplifiers. Understanding of DC/DC converters, LDOs, power supplies, and basic power management. Basic knowledge of communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, UART, SPI, and I²C. Basic understanding of PCB design concepts, grounding, power distribution, signal integrity, and EMI/EMC. Ability to read and understand schematics and component datasheets. Familiarity with hardware debugging and measurement instruments. Basic knowledge of ECAD tools such as Altium Designer, KiCad, or similar is an advantage. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Good written and verbal communication skills.

Familiarity with soldering/rework and basic electronic laboratory practices. Exposure to simulation tools such as LTspice, PSpice. Basic scripting/programming knowledge in C, Python.
