We’re hiring a Firmware Design Engineer to design, develop, and optimize next-generation electronic products, with a focus on wireless, audio, hearables, and wearables. As the Firmware Design Engineer, your responsibilities would be:
Design, develop, and maintain real-time embedded firmware in C/C++ using RTOS (FreeRTOS, ThreadX, Zephyr) for microcontrollers and processors.
Implement device drivers (UART, SPI, I2C, I2S, ADC/DAC, USB) and integrate low-power firmware for battery-operated devices.
Develop and integrate wireless stacks including Bluetooth (Classic & BLE), WiFi, RF subsystems, and handle OTA updates.
Build audio processing pipelines, manage digital audio interfaces (I2S, PDM, PCM), ANC/ENC systems, and low-latency audio.
Perform board bring-up, hardware-software integration, system debugging (JTAG, SWD, Oscilloscope),
and root cause analysis.
Optimize firmware for power consumption, memory footprint, and CPU utilization while maintaining coding standards and documentation.
Requirements
Solid programming skills in Embedded C/C++ with ARM Cortex-M or RISC-V microcontrollers.
Hands-on experience with RTOS-based development, hardware protocols (SPI, I2C, UART, USB), bootloaders, and OTA updates.
Experience with Bluetooth Classic/BLE, WiFi stack integration, and RF communication subsystems.
Background in low-power architecture, battery management, and ultra-low-power design for wearable or hearable devices.
Proficiency with debugging tools (JTAG, SWD, Logic Analyzers) and build settings (Git, Keil, STM32CubeIDE, VS Code).
Ability to read hardware schematics/datasheets and perform hardware-software board bring-up.
Benefits
Work with cutting-edge wireless, audio, and next-gen wearable/hearable
