B B Banthia Finance Pvt Ltd (BFPL) is an RBI-registered Non-Banking Financial Company specialising in gold loans, headquartered in Panvel, Maharashtra. We serve customers across Navi Mumbai, Raigad and the wider Maharashtra region through a network of branches and a team of over 100 people.

The role

We are hiring a Gold Loan Officer for our Ulwe branch. You will handle the gold loan from the moment a customer walks in to the day the loan closes, and you will also bring new business into the branch. You will report to the Branch Manager.

What you will do

- Process gold loans end to end — application, documentation, sanction, disbursement, repayment and closure
- Verify KYC documents for completeness and authenticity against the approved checklist
- Work with the Gold Appraiser on valuation and complete the transaction on the approved value
- Seal and label the gold packet at disbursement as per the prescribed method and hand it over for storage
- Make every system entry accurately and on the same day as the transaction




- Handle cash within the limit set for the role and complete daily cash reconciliation
- Bring in new customers and generate leads in the Ulwe catchment
- Retain existing customers at renewal and follow up on repayments
- Close audit and risk observations within the timeline set

What you need

- 1 to 4 years of experience in gold loan, NBFC, banking or microfinance branch operations
- Understanding of KYC and loan documentation
- Accuracy with cash handling and daily reconciliation
- Willingness to do local field activity and customer follow-up — this role brings business in, it does not only process it
- Fluency in Marathi and Hindi; working English
- HSC or above

Nice to have

- Direct gold loan processing experience
- Familiarity with a loan management system

Job Types: Permanent, Full time Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month
