About The Job:

The Senior Utility Tariff Developer will be responsible for developing, testing, maintaining, and enhancing exact and accurate calculation models for utility tariffs and rates using proprietary tools and technologies.
These models form a critical component of the end products and therefore require robust attention to detail, analytical thinking, coding discipline, and a focus on accuracy.
The role requires solid hands-on development capabilities, particularly in SQL and Python, along with the ability to understand complex data, business logic, and existing application workflows.
The ideal candidate should be self-driven, technically strong, quick to learn new tools and technologies,



and capable of independently taking ownership of development tasks from analysis through implementation and validation.

Essential Job Functions:
Develop, enhance, test, and maintain utility tariff calculation models and associated application components.
Analyze complex calculation requirements and translate business logic into accurate and maintainable technical solutions.
Work extensively with SQL and relational databases for data analysis, transformation, validation, and troubleshooting.
Develop and maintain Python scripts/programs to support tariff modeling, data processing, validation, automation, and efficiency improvements.
Analyze large and complex datasets to identify data issues, inconsistencies, and patterns that may impact tariff calculations.
Validate input data received for modeling activities and identify discrepancies or data-quality issues.
