Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced GCP DevOps Engineer with 6+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, automation, CI/CD, and containerized environments.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform, which will account for approximately 90% of the role, with around 10% exposure to AWS.

The candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, automating, monitoring, and maintaining highly available and scalable cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines in a Mumbai-based onsite environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, deploy, and manage scalable infrastructure primarily on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application build, testing, and deployment.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Manage and optimize GCP compute, networking, storage, IAM, and security services.
- Work with containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes/GKE.
- Implement and manage Kubernetes deployments, services, ingress, configurations, and scaling.
- Develop automation scripts using Shell/Bash, Python, or similar scripting languages.
- Monitor cloud infrastructure, applications, deployments, and system performance.
- Troubleshoot production issues related to infrastructure, deployments, networking, and application availability.
- Implement logging, monitoring, alerting, backup, and disaster-recovery practices.
- Manage source control and branching strategies using Git.
- Collaborate with developers, architects, security teams, and other stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to improve deployment speed, reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency.
- Support AWS-based environments and services where required.

Required SkillsGCP – Mandatory




- Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform.
- Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
- Compute Engine / VM management.
- VPC, subnets, firewall rules, load balancing, and cloud networking.
- IAM and service accounts.
- Cloud Storage.
- Cloud Monitoring and Cloud Logging.
- Cloud Build / CI/CD.
- Artifact Registry or similar GCP container registry.
- Experience with GCP security and access management.

DevOps & Automation
- Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Hands-on experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Cloud Build, or similar tools.
- Experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code tools.
- Strong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
- Git and version-control practices.
- Linux administration and troubleshooting.
- Scripting experience in Shell/Bash and/or Python.

AWS – Secondary
- Basic to moderate hands-on experience with AWS.
- Understanding of services such as EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, and EKS.
- Ability to support or troubleshoot AWS environments when required.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in production enterprise cloud environments.
- Experience with highly available and scalable architectures.
- Knowledge of cloud security and DevSecOps practices.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools.
- Experience with Helm and Kubernetes deployment strategies.
- Understanding of networking, DNS, SSL/TLS, and load balancing.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Relevant GCP or DevOps certifications would be an advantage.

Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate should be a hands-on DevOps professional with strong GCP expertise, capable of independently managing cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes environments, automation, monitoring, and production troubleshooting. GCP expertise is the primary requirement, with an approximate 90% GCP / 10% AWS focus.

Significant: This is an onsite position in Mumbai, so candidates must be comfortable working from the Mumbai office.

Pay: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹2,000,000.00 per year
