ABOUT THE ROLE:

Paybrook Payments Tech Private Limited is looking for an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to join our technology team.

The candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining scalable web applications, business platforms, APIs, integrations, and backend services.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Develop and maintain end-to-end web applications.
- Build backend services and REST APIs using Python/Django and/or PHP/Laravel.
- Develop responsive frontend applications using React, Next.js, Vue.js, or similar technologies.
- Work with PostgreSQL, MySQL/MariaDB, MongoDB, and other databases.
- Integrate payment gateways, third-party APIs, authentication systems, and external services.
- Implement authentication, authorization, and role-based access control.
- Debug production issues and improve application performance.
- Write clean, reusable, scalable, and maintainable code.
- Use Git and participate in code reviews.
- Collaborate with frontend, mobile, QA, DevOps, and product teams.




- Participate in technical architecture and design discussions.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

- 2-5 years of relevant software development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Python/Django and/or PHP/Laravel.
- Good experience with React, Next.js, Vue.js, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
- Strong knowledge of REST APIs.
- Experience with SQL databases and database design.
- Knowledge of MongoDB is an advantage.
- Valuable understanding of Git and Linux.
- Knowledge of authentication, authorization, and application security.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

GOOD TO HAVE: Docker, CI/CD, Nginx, Redis/Valkey, WebSockets, cloud/VPS deployment, payment gateway integration, SaaS, ERP, CRM, HRMS, accounting, or fintech application experience.

Candidates with strong practical experience and demonstrable projects may also be considered.
