Role Description The French Language Interpreter will provide accurate, real-time interpretation between French and English (and/or local languages) in an on-site setting in India. In this full-time role, the interpreter will support conversations, meetings, and written communication for clients and internal teams, ensuring clarity and cultural appropriateness.

Day-to-day tasks include facilitating verbal communication, translating documents or emails as required, preparing for sessions by reviewing reference materials, and maintaining confidentiality of all interactions.



The interpreter will collaborate with colleagues to coordinate schedules, clarify terminology, and uphold professional standards in all assignments.

Qualifications

- Strong proficiency in French and English, with the ability to interpret accurately in both directions.
- Previous experience in interpretation or translation, preferably in a professional or corporate environment.
- Excellent listening skills, attention to detail, and the ability to convey meaning and tone clearly.
- Good understanding of cultural nuances relevant to French-speaking regions and Indian contexts.
- Ability to work in office, manage time effectively, and handle multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional demeanor, strong interpersonal skills, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and neutrality.
- Relevant certification or formal training in French language or interpretation is an advantage.
