Role Overview :

We are seeking an experienced FlexPLM Data Migration Lead with 7 - 12 years of IT experience, including 3 - 5 years of hands-on experience in PTC FlexPLM/Windchill data migration. The candidate will be responsible for planning and executing end-to-end data migration strategies, ensuring data accuracy, quality, integrity, and seamless transition from legacy systems to FlexPLM.

Key Responsibilities :

- Define data migration strategy, approach, roadmap, and execution plan for FlexPLM implementations.
- Perform data assessment, profiling, gap analysis, and identify migration scope and dependencies.
- Identify legacy data sources including PLM, ERP, spreadsheets, and databases.
- Develop data mapping specifications, transformation rules, and migration plans.
- Extract, transform, cleanse, and prepare data according to the FlexPLM data model.
- Develop and execute ETL processes, scripts, and data migration routines.
- Load data into FlexPLM using bulk loaders, APIs, and migration tools.
- Perform data cleansing, deduplication, enrichment, and validation activities.
- Validate migrated data against business and system requirements.
- Execute data reconciliation, audit, and quality checks to ensure data integrity and completeness.
- Work extensively with FlexPLM objects including Products, Materials, BOMs, Specifications, and Suppliers.




- Understand and apply FlexPLM data relationships, dependencies, and hierarchies.
- Plan and execute mock migrations and final cutover migrations.
- Support UAT, production deployment, and post-migration activities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data migration issues and defects.
- Collaborate with business users, functional consultants, technical teams, and other stakeholders.
- Prepare data mapping documents, migration runbooks, validation reports, and status updates.
- Track migration progress, risks, issues, and dependencies throughout the migration lifecycle.

Required Skills &

Experience :

- 7 - 12 years of overall IT experience with 3 - 5 years of experience in FlexPLM/Windchill data migration.
- Strong expertise in data migration strategies and ETL processes.
- Solid hands-on experience with SQL and Oracle Database.
- Experience in data mapping, transformation, cleansing, and validation.
- Experience with bulk data loading and migration tools.
- Strong understanding of the FlexPLM data model and objects.
- Basic Java scripting knowledge is preferred.
- Experience with large-scale data migration programs, system upgrades, and transformations.
- Knowledge of data governance and data quality frameworks.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
