Job Summary:
The Purchase Executive is responsible for managing procurement activities, vendor sourcing, and ensuring timely availability of materials required for pharmaceutical manufacturing operations. The role involves maintaining compliance with industry regulations, cost optimization, and supplier relationship management.

Key Responsibilities:
Procure raw materials, packaging materials, and consumables products
Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable vendors and suppliers
Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts to achieve cost efficiency
Ensure compliance with GMP and regulatory standards in procurement processes
Generate and process Purchase Orders (POs) and track deliveries
Coordinate with Production, QA, QC, and Warehouse teams for material planning
Maintain inventory levels to avoid stock-outs or overstocking
Monitor supplier performance and ensure timely delivery and quality compliance
Handle import procurement and documentation (if applicable)
Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation
Resolve vendor-related issues and discrepancies





Key Skills:
Solid negotiation and vendor management skills
Knowledge of pharmaceutical raw materials and supply chain processes
Familiarity with GMP, regulatory compliance, and audit requirements
Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
Valuable analytical and problem-solving abilities
Robust communication and coordination skills

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy, Science, Commerce, or related field
Additional certification in Supply Chain/Procurement (preferred)

Preferred Experience:
Experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare industry procurement
Exposure to API, formulations, or packaging materials sourcing
Knowledge of import/export procedures (added advantage)
