As a Field Engineer, you are the face of AmpleTrails at client sites. You'll install, configure, and commission biometric attendance machines, access control systems (flap barriers, turnstiles, boom barriers), CCTV cameras, and automatic school bell systems at offices, factories, schools, and government buildings across India.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on technical work, solving problems on the ground, and interacting directly with clients. Every day is different - a corporate office in Gurugram today, a manufacturing plant in Manesar tomorrow.

Key Responsibilities

- Install and configure biometric attendance machines (fingerprint, face recognition, palm, UHF) from eSSL, Matrix COSEC, and Biomax at client locations.
- Set up access control hardware - flap barriers, tripod turnstiles, full-height turnstiles, boom barriers, electromagnetic locks, and door controllers.
- Run structured cabling (Cat6, power lines) between devices, controllers, and networking equipment. Terminate RJ45 connectors and patch panels.
- Configure device networking - assign static IPs, set up port forwarding, configure TCP/IP communication between machines and the attendance server.
- Install and configure attendance software (eTimeTrackLite, COSEC) on client servers and PCs. Set up database connections, device communication, and report templates.
- Install and configure CCTV surveillance systems - IP cameras, NVRs/DVRs, PoE switches - and configure remote viewing on mobile and desktop apps.
- Install and program automatic school bell / PA systems with scheduled bell timers.
- Provide on-site training to client HR and admin teams on using the attendance software and managing devices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues during and after installation.



Provide post-installation support and AMC visits.
- Maintain detailed installation reports, device serial numbers, IP configurations, and client sign-off documentation.

Required Qualifications

- ITI, Diploma, or degree in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Science, or Hardware Networking.
- 1-4 years of field installation experience with biometric devices, CCTV, or access control systems. Freshers with solid technical aptitude and ITI/Diploma may apply.
- Working knowledge of IP networking - static IP assignment, subnetting, port forwarding, router/switch configuration.
- Comfortable with basic electrical work - running cables, mounting devices, wiring door locks and controllers.
- Ability to read and follow wiring diagrams and installation layouts.
- Good communication skills - you'll train end-users and interact with client IT teams.
- Willingness to travel extensively within NCR and across India for installations. Valid driving license preferred.
- Physically able to climb ladders, mount devices at height, and carry equipment (up to 20 kg).

Preferred (Nice-to-Have)

- Hands-on experience with eSSL devices and eTimeTrackLite / eFace10 software.
- Experience with Matrix COSEC access control or SATATYA CCTV products.
- Knowledge of fire alarm systems, PA systems, or intercom installation.
- Experience with boom barrier installation (FAAC, Nice, or local brands).
- Basic understanding of MS SQL Server - starting services, restoring backups, checking device connectivity via SQL.
