Job Role

- OFC Laying Supervisor / Site Engineer

- Supervise and manage OFC (Optical Fiber Cable) laying work for telecommunication projects.

- Coordinate field activities related to cable laying, installation, and site execution.

- Monitor the work of field teams and ensure activities are completed as per project requirements.

- Coordinate with telecom companies, contractors, and site teams for smooth project execution.

- Conduct site visits and monitor daily progress.

- Ensure proper handling, laying, and installation of OFC cables.

- Identify and resolve site-related issues and technical challenges.

- Maintain daily work progress records and provide updates to management.

- Ensure work is completed safely and within the required timelines.

Key Responsibilities

OFC Laying & Site Execution:

- Supervise OFC cable laying and related field activities.

- Monitor trenching, cable installation, routing, and site restoration work as applicable.

- Ensure work is executed according to approved plans and specifications.

- Check the quality and accuracy of field work.

- Coordinate manpower, tools, and materials required at the site.

Team & Project Coordination





- Manage and guide field workers and installation teams.

- Coordinate with telecom company representatives and contractors.

- Allocate daily work activities and monitor team performance.

- Resolve site-level issues and ensure timely completion of assigned work.

Reporting & Documentation

- Maintain daily site progress reports.

- Record completed work, manpower, materials, and site issues.

- Report project progress and technical/site-related concerns to management.

- Ensure proper documentation of OFC laying activities.

Required Skills

- Knowledge of OFC laying and telecommunication field work.

- Good field supervision and coordination skills.

- Ability to manage field teams and site activities.

- Basic technical and problem-solving skills.

- Valuable communication and follow-up abilities.

- Basic English communication skills.

- Education: Diploma / Degree in Engineering

- Experience: Any experience; experienced supervisors preferred.
