Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior FEA & Structural Analysis Engineer with 8+ years of experience in engineering simulation and structural analysis. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in ANSYS and nCode, with experience in nonlinear FEA, fatigue analysis, material modeling, optimization, and system-level simulation.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform structural simulations, including nonlinear static and dynamic FEA.
- Conduct fatigue analysis, durability assessment, and component life prediction.
- Develop and define material properties for metallic and plastic materials.
- Provide technical leadership for structural, system, and dynamic vehicle simulations.
- Review simulation requests, define appropriate analysis methodologies, and coordinate with external simulation partners when required.
- Support simulation strategy and capability development through research, training, and project execution.
- Participate in DFMEA, DVP development, design reviews, requirements definition, and physical testing.
- Collaborate closely with design, testing, and cross-functional engineering teams.
- Drive simulation quality, technical rigor, and continuous improvement.

Required Skills




- 10+ years of experience in FEA, CAE, structural analysis, or engineering simulation.
- Strong hands-on experience with ANSYS.
- Proficiency in nCode, particularly for fatigue and durability analysis.
- Strong knowledge of nonlinear static and dynamic FEA.
- Experience in fatigue calculations and life prediction.
- Good understanding of metallic and plastic material properties.
- Exposure to optimization techniques and energetic/system-level modeling.
- Knowledge of DFMEA, DVP, design validation, and testing.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Experience providing technical guidance or leadership to engineering teams is preferred.

Education
- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Automotive, Aerospace, or related Engineering discipline is mandatory.
- M.E./M.Tech is preferred.

Preferred Experience Candidates with experience in automotive, vehicle systems, structural durability, CAE, or advanced engineering simulation will be preferred.
