Job Role

Fashion Merchandiser – High Fashion Apparel (Party Wear)

- Manage the complete merchandising cycle from product development to final shipment.

- Handle costing, sampling, sourcing, and order execution.

- Coordinate with buyers, vendors, suppliers, and production teams.

- Manage buyer requirements and ensure timely execution of orders.

- Monitor production timelines and ensure on-time delivery.

- Ensure products meet required quality standards and buyer specifications.

- Track order status and provide regular follow-ups.

- Identify production or order-related issues and resolve them proactively.

- Maintain accurate merchandising, production, and order documentation.

- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth order execution.

Key Responsibilities

Merchandising &

- Product Development:

- Manage product development for high-fashion party wear apparel.

- Coordinate sampling and obtain buyer approvals.

- Handle costing and sourcing activities.

- Ensure products are developed according to buyer requirements and specifications.

Buyer &

- Vendor Management

- Coordinate closely with international/domestic buyers and vendors.

- Maintain strong relationships with buyers and production partners.

- Communicate buyer requirements clearly to production and sourcing teams.





- Negotiate with vendors regarding costing, quality, and production requirements.

Production &

- Order Execution

- Track production progress and order status.

- Monitor quality and production timelines.

- Follow up with vendors and production teams to avoid delays.

- Ensure timely completion and shipment of orders.

- Maintain accurate records throughout the merchandising cycle.

Required Skills

- Strong experience in High Fashion Apparel Merchandising.

- Mandatory Buying House experience.

- Robust understanding of garment production, sourcing, and buyer management.

- Good knowledge of party wear/high-fashion apparel.

- Excellent communication and coordination skills.

- Strong negotiation and follow-up abilities.

- Good problem-solving and organizational skills.

- Ability to manage multiple orders and deadlines.

Experience &

- Salary

- Experience: 6–8 years

- Relevant Experience: 5–8 years in High Fashion Apparel Merchandising

- Buying House Experience: Mandatory

- Salary Budget: ₹40,000–₹60,000 per month
