Location: Chettipalayam and other surroundings.

A factory helper in the glass industry assists machine operators, handles raw materials, and keeps the work area protected and clean.

Material Handling and Preparation

- Load and unload raw materials like silica sand, cullet (crushed glass), and chemicals.
- Move glass sheets, bottles, or finished products safely around the factory floor.
- Prepare and clean work stations before and after production runs.

Production and Machine Support
- Feed materials into furnaces, ovens, or cutting and shaping equipment.
- Assist machine operators and skilled technicians with day-to-day tasks.
- Help clear jams, sort pieces, or transfer molded items to cooling and annealing areas.

Quality Control and Packaging
- Check finished glass items for basic flaws, cracks, or bubbles under supervision.
- Pack fragile glass products into boxes, crates, or pallets for shipping.
- Label packages correctly and stack them in designated storage zones.

Safety and Clean-up
- Sweep up glass shards, dust, and debris to maintain a hazard-free floor.
- Wear protective gear like heavy gloves, safety glasses, and steel-toed boots.
- Follow all factory health guidelines and report equipment issues to supervisors.
