Qualifications
CA / CA Inter / M.Com (Finance)
Strong knowledge of accounting and financial management
Relevant professional certification/registration as applicable
Experience
Minimum 3+ years of experience in the Hospital / Healthcare industry is mandatory
Candidates with leadership / team-handling experience will be preferred
Experience in hospital finance & accounts operations will be an added advantage
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day hospital accounting and finance operations
Maintain books of accounts, ledgers, journals and financial records
Handle accounts payable, receivables, billing and reconciliations
Monitor hospital revenue, expenses and financial transactions
Prepare monthly MIS, financial statements and management reports
Conduct bank, vendor and inter-departmental reconciliations
Monitor cash flow and support budgeting and financial planning
Ensure accurate recording and timely closure of accounts
Coordinate with auditors, vendors, banks and statutory authorities
Ensure compliance with applicable accounting, taxation and financial regulations
Review financial data and identify discrepancies or irregularities
Maintain proper documentation for audits and statutory requirements
Coordinate with hospital departments for finance-related matters
Supervise and guide junior accounting staff
Lead the accounts team and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks
Support hospital management in financial analysis and decision-making
Required Skills
Robust knowledge of accounting and finance
Good understanding of hospital accounting processes
Excellent analytical and reconciliation skills
Knowledge of Tally / ERP / accounting software and MS Excel
Solid leadership and team-management abilities
Positive communication and coordination skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
