Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
Transport passengers or goods: Safely drive passengers or company products to their destinations, ensuring timely arrivals.
Vehicle Maintenance: Perform regular checks on the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Report any issues to the fleet manager.
Route Planning: Plan and follow the most efficient routes to minimize delays and fuel consumption.
Adhere to Traffic Laws: Follow all traffic laws and regulations, maintaining a protected and professional driving record.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes, and any incidents or issues.
Safety Standards: Always ensure the vehicle is secure, clean, and equipped with the necessary safety equipment.
Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service when interacting with passengers or clients.
Assist with Loading and Unloading: If necessary, help with the loading and unloading of goods.
Communicate with Dispatchers: Report any traffic, delays, or issues on the road in real-time.
Qualifications:
Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
Previous experience as a driver, courier, or in a related role preferred.
Knowledge of Road Safety and traffic laws.
Physical Fitness to assist with loading and unloading goods when required.
Good Communication Skills for interacting with passengers, clients, and colleagues.
Punctuality and Reliability: Be able to adhere to the 7 AM shift start time and perform duties with mínimal supervision.
