The Quality Engineer / Quality Control Engineer is responsible for ensuring that stainless steel products meet customer specifications, industry standards, and internal quality requirements. The role involves inspection, testing, documentation, process monitoring, and continuous improvement across raw materials, production, and finished goods.
Testing & Measurement
Use measuring instruments such as:
Vernier calipers
Micrometers
Height gauges
Surface roughness testers
Hardness testers
Perform PMI (Positive Material Identification) checks
Review mill test certificates (MTCs)
Conduct visual weld inspection and NDT coordination (if applicable)
