About The Job:
This is a Cybersecurity / Security Operations Engineer (Security Analyst / SecOps Engineer with automation focus) role.
In easy terms, the person is responsible for protecting company systems from cyber threats and automating security work.

Essential Job Functions:

Security monitoring & incident handling
Monitor security alerts (like suspicious logins, attacks, malware activity)
Investigate cyber incidents (what happened, how it happened, impact)
Do root cause analysis
Hunt for hidden threats in logs (“threat hunting”)
Coordinate fixing of vulnerabilities with DevOps / infra teams
Run vulnerability assessments and ensure patching

Security automation (important part of this role)




Build automation scripts using Python / Bash / Ansible / Terraform
Automate repetitive SOC/Security Ops tasks
Create workflows/agents (even using GenAI tools) to speed up security operations
Improve detection and response processes

Qualifications:

Key skills they expect

Cloud security basics: AWS / Azure
Linux administration
