Job Description:

We are looking for a Lead Software Engineer – Big Data with 8+ years of experience to support and enhance a large scale Cloudera-based data platform operating in a hybrid setting (internal cloud + physical infrastructure).

The role requires solid ownership of platform reliability, production operations, and major upgrades, with a heavy focus on infrastructure and platform automation using Ansible, Terraform, and Cloudera CDP 7.1. The engineer will lead incident and service request management, contribute to production planning and releases, and drive automation through self-service capabilities, APIs, scripts, and operational KPIs.





The ideal candidate has deep experience in Hadoop/Big Data platforms, hands-on production support, basic Python scripting, and the ability to work closely with Cloudera vendor teams and internal stakeholders. This is a hands-on leadership role suited for someone comfortable operating in critical production environments with an automation-first mindset.
