Key Responsibilities

- Monitor and inspect electrical installation activities at solar/renewable energy project sites.
- Ensure electrical works are executed as per approved drawings
- Best candidate background: Electrical Engineer with 38 years of experience in Solar PV / Renewable Energy / Power Projects, specifically in QA/QC or Field Quality, specifications, QAP and ITP.

- Conduct quality inspections for
- HT/LT cable laying & termination

- Transformer installation

- HT/LT panels and switchgear

- Inverter/PCS installation

- SCADA and communication systems

- Earthing and lightning protection
- Cable trays, conduits and electrical equipment




- Module/string cabling and junction boxes
- Verify electrical material quality, test certificates and approved makes.
- Witness and review electrical testing such as IR, continuity, earth resistance, HV/Hi-Pot and cable testing.
- Check installation against SLD, electrical drawings and approved specifications.
- Raise and monitor NCRs, observations and punch points and ensure timely closure.
- Coordinate with EPC contractors, vendors and site execution teams for quality compliance.
- Maintain inspection reports, checklists, test reports and quality documentation.
- Support internal/customer audits and ensure compliance with applicable IS/IEC standards.
- Ensure electrical work meets safety and statutory requirements.
