Qualification
Overall Experience: 7 to 10 years
Requirement:
Cassandra DBA [ L2 Support ]
Positive knowledge on UNIX commands and Shell scripting
Knowledge in Cloud Technologies
Prefered to have:
Exposure to Oracle.
Must to have:
Strong Database Administration Skills on Cassandra databases.
Hands on experience in configuring, adding, removing, upgrading and decommissioning Cassandra nodes/data centers.
Proficiency on UNIX /Linux environment
Valuable Scripting skills.
Knowledge in Installation/Upgrades/Migration/Backup and Restore/Data recovery.
Knowledge in database Performance tuning.
Experience with Cassandra schema design, performance tuning and CQL queries
Must have experience in loading data into Cassandra cluster from other data sources.
Strong administrator for Cassandra, including configuration of Cassandra cluster with multi-data centers.
Performance tuning for memory, troubleshooting skills, and node rebuild/backup.
Experience with Cloud Technologies AWS/GOOGLE Cloud
Configure and install the OPSCENTER agents on Cassandra servers. OPSCENTER is used for monitoring the Cassandra databases.
Knowledge in configuring datastax Cassandra
Good to have:
Oracle knowledge
ITIL Certification. Experience to work under Agile Methodology.
Replication setup and troubleshooting issues, Cluster concepts.
Wavefront dashboard with monitoring
